Conroy accused of misleading on NBN

skynews

Malcolm Turnbull has accused Communications minister Stephen Conroy and the national broadband network of misleading Australians about the pace of the high-speed network’s rollout.

The opposition communications spokesman says he believes there’s a deliberate effort to mislead people because the NBN uses measures used nowhere else in the industry.

NBN Co said last week it’s on track to meet its target of having work underway or completed for 758-thousand homes and business by year’s end.

Mr Turnbull has pointed out there’s a difference between premises actually connected and cases where the cable passes a place.
