BRUSSELS: NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Wednesday that the alliance had received a request from member-state Turkey for a deployment of Patriot missiles to protect its border with Syria.
“I have received Turkey’s request for NATO to deploy Patriot missiles. Allies will discuss this without delay,” Rasmussen said on Twitter.
